Recently the UK Supreme Court ruled that a woman is legally defined by
biological sex, sparking unnecessary bathroom controversy. Public
bathrooms have always felt unsafe to me, even before realising I was
trans. Probably because it just felt like another reason to be
separated by gender and it made me overly aware of how I was being
perceived. I try to avoid being percieved entering any public bathroom
as to avoid the awkward stares. I'm pretty androgynous so no matter
where I go people look like they have something to say.
